    In 1985, the first session of the "China-Japan Plastic Technology Seminar (forging)" was successfully held in Shanghai, China. Organized by the China Association of Plastic Engineering -CMES (formerly known as forging and stamping association) launched Japan Society for Plastic Co completed. Every two or three seminars held alternately in China and Japan.
   In 1992, in order to expand the scope to strengthen academic exchanges, "Sino-Japanese plastic technology seminar" was renamed "China-Japan forging academic conference."
   In 1998, in order to promote cooperation between Asian countries, South Korea, India and Singapore were invited to attend the sixth session of forging held in Nagoya, Japan, "the Japanese forging academic conference" is renamed "Asian Conference on forging" (ASPF).
   Objective forging Asian Conference of Asian countries, mainly to improve cooperation between emerging technologies and forging important areas. Meeting in the form of a forum for countries to share development status forging aspects, trends and innovations, and provide a positive platform for the exchange of forging in basic and applied research in the field engineer / researcher.
